TOUR 1 : DOI SUTHEP, PHU PING PALACE AND CITY TEMPLES
DAILY : 9.00 AM. TO 2.00 PM. Visit Wat Prathart
Doi Suthep (3,500 feet above sea level), where the holy relics of
Lord Buddha are kept inside the pagoda A panoramic view of the city
can be seen here. PhuPing Palace (4,300 feel above sea level) is their
majesties' winter palace enclosed in a delightful garden. The palace
is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday when the royal family is not in
residence. Visits will be made to some old and
well-known
temples in the city : Wat Chiang Mun, Wat Phra

TOUR 2 : DOI SUTHEP AND HANDICRAFT VILLAGE
DAILY : 9.00 AM. TO 4.00 PM.
Wat Prathart Doi Suthep, PhuPing Palace. The Palace is opened Friday,
Saturday and Sunday. Visit the famous handicraft village to see Thai
silk and cotton weaving by the pretty girls of Sankhampang & colourful
paper and silk parasols. Also visit lacquerware, teakwood carving/furniture
and silver workshops.
TOUR 3 : ELEPHANTS AT WORK, ORCHID FARM AND MAE-SA WATERFALL
DAILY : 8.30 AM. TO 2.00 PM. An excursion
to a jungle area north of the city to see elephants at work; a demonstration
of how trained elephants are used to help in lumber works. Stops are
made at a very beautiful orchid farm, with hundreds of species of
rare colourful blooms. Also, stop at the Mae-Sa waterfall. (A ride
on an elephant can also be arranged at extra cost.)
TOUR 3 A : LAMPANG'S ELEPHANT TRAINING CAMP AND TEMPLES
DAILY : 8.30 AM. TO 4.00 PM. See the young elephants
at a training camp in Lampang about 80 kms. south of Chiang Mai, Visit
an elephant hospital; the famous temples in Lampang, Wat Prathat Lampang
Laung and Wat Pra Kaew Don Tao and an ancient temple Wat Prathat Haripoonchai
in Lumphoon.
TOUR 4 : MAE THA MHAN ELEPHANT RIDE AND RAFTING
DAILY : 8.00 AM. TO 5.00 PM. This full day trip
takes you to see an elephant show, riding an elephant in the jungle
area for one hour then continue by buffalo cart to see the fields
with a river rafting at the end of day.
TOUR 5 : DOI INTHANON NATIONAL PARK AND MAE-KLANG WATERFALL
DAILY : 9.00 AM. TO 4.00 PM. Visit Doi Inthanon
National Park featuring the highest peaks in Thailand (8,500 feet
above sea level). The whole area is now a national park with much
wonderful scenery accentuated by wild orchids. On the way, visit Vachiratharn
Waterfall, Mao and White Karen hill tribe villages, Mae Klang waterfall
and Wat Prathart Chomthong.
TOUR 6 : CHIANGRAI, GOLDEN TRIANGLE AND MAE SAI
DAILY : 7.00 AM. TO 7.00 PM. Situated in
the far north of Thailand, Chiangrai is another interesting destination
for travellers to complete their trip in the north. Visit Chiangsaen,
the historical city dating back more than 700 years and the famous
golden triangle, where the Mae Kok River flows through the borders
of three countries: Thailand, Laos and Burma. At the end of this trip
also visit Mae Sai, which is a border town of Thai-Burma.
TOUR 7 : CHIANGRAI, GOLDEN TRIANGLE AND MAE SAI(MINIMUM 4 PERSONS)
DAILY ; 6.00 AM. TO 10.00 PM. Depart for 3 hours
drive to Chiangrai by air conditioned van (stop for breakfast at hot
spring).Then take aboat trip up the Mae Kok river for one hour to
Karen village; then start an excithig ride on an elephant for 2 hours
to Yao hill tribe village. Continue by van to the Golden Triangle
and Mae Sai at the Burma border. A very long day trip but very well
worth it. BREAKFAST AND LUNCH BOX INCLUDED.
TOUR 8 : KHAN TOKE DINNER
DAILY : 7.00 PM. TO 9.30 PM. Enjoy a super northern
Thai dinner while local dancers entertain with sword dance, candle
dance and fingernail dance and ramwong, where all guests are invited
to participate. After dinner there will be a special hill tribe show.
Please pay directly to Khan Toke place. TREKKING : TO all small hill
tribe villages around Chiangmai, Chiangrai and Mae Hong Sorn can be
arranged for small groups or individuals. Please ask to see our trekking
guide for complete details. Rental car with or without driver can
